This is a color pencil drawing I made as a Christmas card for my family and friends. It depicts the birth of Jesus Christ. The glow from the baby and the star show that this is an extraordinary birth. The lights in the buildings represent souls (who are not visible because they are not aware about what's happening). The cross in the background of the stable foreshadows Christ's crucifiction. The baby reaches up at it and smile as if He knows what's to become of Him and He knows everything will be ok.
