These words from one of my previewers (DWP) is the perfect statement for this prhotograph:
"This city is under construction. Here is what it is like on the left. Here is what it will become on the right - art (winged) showing a completed ideal reflected in the poster. That is urban. Always building, rough, changing, aspiring. And Vancouver sure has been built up fast."

So I can only add - besides, my home town is preparing for the Olympic Winter Games in 2010.

Taken with an Olympus E-330, just resized from 1600x1200 to 800x600 - no cropping / filtering / colour adjustments (f7.2 - 1/200 sec - ISO 400). Of course I waited until a truck with a colour matching the fairy came along - at least 10 seconds.
