Two of my jesters illustrate this simple quote in a lighthearted and humourous vein. In first coming across this nugget of wisdom, and knowing the source to be a farmer's almanac, I immediately felt the positive connotation leaned toward the weatherwise. Being a gardener, I know it is necessary to be aware of the climate. However, I am also an artist and know how important it is to jump outside the box~ hence, it is essential for one in my position to nurture the "otherwise" side of me. In the end, this piece represents both sides of the coin, and the duality they present. The garden will not grow without rain, and the soul will not flourish without dancing in the storm.
