The Citrine Mermaid sits with her Goldfish friend as he tells her a stroy full of amazement and wonder. This is a one of a kind, pure sculpt (no molds used) in polymer clay. She is approximately 5" high, with an approximate base of 5" and about 6" around. Citrine is sculpted in polymer clay over a wire armature for strength. I have used other media to add character, texture, and details. Her hair is dyed mohair yarns, pulled apart and restyled. Her top is mylar layered on top of aqua satin ribbon. The goldfish's tail and fins are frayed silk ribbons over tissue paper, sealed for protection~ he is also a miniature pure sculpt. Her scales are individually placed, and painted with irredecent Pearl Ex in green and white. She has blue glass eyes and a tiny beaded crown. This is an original piece, signed and dated on the bottom.
