When I was a little girl, my sisters and I would play dress up (of course, what little girl didn't?) We had grand old tea parties, out in the shade of a big ancient oak tree, in gowns of flowers and lace. On more than one occasion, one or more of us would see something out of the corner of her eye, a whisper of color, a light moving, something shimmery. And though we never spoke of these things, all three of us today love fairies.
