The background is abstract watercolor on 140 lb. watercolor paper. The jester's face was drawn in archival inks and Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Birstol. Light blue and white feathers and tiny glass beads embellish the jesters gloves. This one of a kind piece is signed and dated on the back.
