This is "Eye Of Orrin", and he is the first painting of the Dragon Souls series. Eyes on the prize is what I think of when viewing this piece. While working on Orrin I imagined a large green dragon who has spotted his prey and the concentration needed to complete the task. I wanted to capture his intense stare while focusing on his target and silently swooping in for the kill. The miniature piece was made with the use of acrylic paints on a 3.5"x 2.5" sheet of canvas.
