This a painting of a little place I like to call Deer Lake. The painting shows a lake at sunset when there is just enough light to shine through the clouds and dance on the water's surface. When all is silent a lone deer creeps out of the forest and cautiously looks over the lake. Once the coast is clear, he creeps down to the water's edge for a much needed cool drink.... This painting was made with acrylic paints on stretched canvas measuring 8" x 8".
