"United Watch" I think most of us artists had to do something after Sept 11th and this is my contribution to the effort. My painting is called "United Watch". The inspiration for this is when President Bush instructed us all to be on the lookout for anything unusual. So my thought was to watch like an eagle and report .... therefore, the painting. Enjoy!!! Prints are available in my ebay store. The original hangs in the office of the JNN Foundation (the charities of BSB's A. J. McLean) I feel like this could be enjoyed by many people so I am doing an open edition for all you who would like one. The idea of this one came to me as I was watching the happenings at the time. We were all supposed to report anything peculiar that would be going on around us. Therefore I had the brainstorm to use the eagles as an American symbol to represent the "watch" program. My model for this painting was Osceola. He is the beautiful eagle that live in Dollywood in Nashville. He was injured and lost a wing........ his trainer took him up in the air harnessed to a hang-glider. You can check him out on the web. I took some great pictures of him while I was there and I think he is a great subject.
