The time of year is evident in this photo taken outside my studio door. I have photographed this view many times in many different seasons and each one brings a unique quality to the scene. The land in back gently slopes down to a pond and beyond the pond is some rock ledge on which the farm beyond is built. I have always loved the colors of autumn and this real New England landscape makes the case.
