Not too many days after the destruction of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001 when anthrax became a great concern in the country, I painted this pop art acrylic on canvas board. I never really thought about it at the time, but I believe that subconsciously I was trying to deal with that issue. I changed my mind many times about the colors, but finally settled on this rendition as most of the colors are easily identifiable in the pop art realm. This painting can be oriented either vertically, as shown here or horizontally, if preferred. To more fully visualize the depth of the colors, please click on the magnifying glass.
