The old art deco Hotel Edison in Miami's South Beach is the subject of this very large (36"x24") original painting. The tropical colors are light tangerine, lemon yellow, cool green and frosty lavender. Broad brush strokes are applied in a very loose impressionist style. This painting may be displayed unframed. The edges of the canvas are painted, and a picture wire kit is included. A certificate of authenticity will be enclosed. ARTIST'S STATEMENT: I painted this from photos I took on last year's trip to Miami. It was great to remember the sunshine on a cold December day in Ilinois.
