Painted in beautiful pastels, the lacy iron balconies of the French Quarter's Royal Street are a treat for the eye. Shades of light marigold, aqua, and lavender are contrasted against bold reds and deep blue. The rich oil pigment has been applied with loose, impressionistic brush stokes giving this painting texture. This painting may be hung unframed.
