My funny valentine

Ok, here's a piece for all you lovers out there! Valentine's Day will be here soon, and these little guys are just brimming over with love...

There are 7 strange little figures here offering their "pure-as-the-driven-snow" white hearts to you! But beware! Passionate matters of the heart sometimes bring about unexpected and unrequited feelings.

Since the overall painting is red, and the men are deep crimson colored, I decided to make their hearts white.... I added the scratches for depth and interest.

The 1.5" deep sides are painted black, so there's no need to frame. I show several pictures for detail here, including a closeup of one of the "guys".

This piece measures 18x24x1.5" and I signed it on the lower right hand side.
