This Mixed Media piece was donated to the Heart Association for the Annual Auction. The Title is Italian and translates to say, "The Flower of Hope". Although I know that the flower of hope is generally thought to be the Daisy or the Iris, I thought the woman in this piece truly expressed hopefulness. I also wanted the black & white image to contrast greatly from the reds, yellows & azos in the background. I added texture and depth using an image transfer of a chandelier and modeling paste.
