These paintings are the first time there has actually been a picture other than in mine or my son's imagination. Squeeds aren't often seen in their natural habitats, but there are some believed to be living in private collections in Norway and parts of Scotland (although one of these collections escaped and was last seen heading towards the Highlands). Squeeds live in cold climates. They have no wings or forelimbs and travel in packs to defend themselves in case of attack. They are very loyal and will always come to the aid of another in trouble. The plight of the squeed should recognised. They may look odd but they have a lot to teach us about being good friends.
