Most of my paintings are oil on stretched canvas or wood panel, occasionally paper or other material sneaks in there.
Whenever there's a frame, I've made it myself, borrowing techniques from my funky assemblage sculptures.
I make my assemblages from sculpted polyform clay, metal, wood, string, plastic, cardboard, bits of found objects, pieces of old toys, you name it.
These 3-dimensional doodles are an exploration of ideas involving the collision of technology, culture, and aesthetics in our lives. I know, I know, sounds deep --but also I think they look groooovy
