Art: BLACK CAT BEHIND THE SUNFLOWER by Artist Cyra R. Cancel
This is an ORIGINAL ACEO Drawing (not a print), signed and dated in the back. My New Original Black Cat Behind the Flowers Drawings Series in Black for 2008. READY FOR THE SPRING? MORE OF MY BLACK CATS BEHIND THE FLOWERS, LIKE 2006 -2007, BUT WITH MORE DETAILS, AND WITH A NEW CAT FACE. ;) I HOPE YOU LIKE THEM TOO. SEARCHING ABOUT THE MEDICINES FLOWERS, LOOK WHAT I FOUND ABOUT THE SUNFLOWERS. Family Asteraceae Description Large, annual flower reaching heights of 1.8-3 meters (6-10ft). Leaves are alternate, heart-shaped, and bristly. Flowers are yellow to orange in color and composite with dark brown centers. Flowers present July through October. Location Found in prairies, open fields, roadsides, and planted as ornamental flower. Ranges from Minnesota to Texas, but has been known to grow wild elsewhere. Uses and Parts Used Flower Flower tea used for lung ailments and malaria. Leaves Leaf tea reduces high fevers and has astringent properties. Leaf poultice may be used on snakebites and insect bites. Leaves are also diuretic and expectorant, as are seeds. I always look for details in my drawings, or paintings. The photo shown does not show exactly the real colors of an artwork. Colors may vary slightly due to the photographic process, and individual monitors. The colors you see on your monitor may not accurately reflect the actual colors. Each drawing is sprayed with Fixatif, to prevent smudging and wrinkling. Arrives in a protective plastic envelope. Used Artagain/Strathmore 60lbs. paper with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils/White Ink.
