As a painter, Claude is famous for his colorful paintings of angels, vivid stormy city scenes, landscapes, emotions of past and present. He works in professional acrylics, using a knife to get bold and instant color. He finds the Palette knife to be a great tool of expression. He reaches the public through the use of dramatic color, texture & style.
Claude explains: Someone once said "It's not what you paint, but how you paint it". When I had a well known artist/painter tell me at a juried art show who was one of the judges, to "let the painting tell the story, let the people see what they want to see in the painting." I followed his advice, sold and won numerous awards since then. I like to paint with bright, bold color and awareness of light, to capture a mood and a lot of feeling in my art work.
