This one of a kind original mixed media piece is a collaboration with my husband and partner. His work is the sculpture and beadwork and mine is the painting and final details. The art has been created on 1/4" masonite panel. The mixed media consists of hand sculpted polymer clay, plaster, stone and beads. One exception is the face, this comes from a mold. A thick, textural piece! The beadwork consists of glass beads and tubes, semiprecious stones: green and lemon jade, amethyst, turquoise, tiger eye, carnelian, agate - and genuine shell beads, mother of pearl, heishi.
