New painting from my landscape series dedicated to southern Colorado and the San Luis Valley
La Veta, Colorado. This little village at the foothills of the Spanish Peaks in the Sangre De Cristo mountains is nestled in where the pine, scrub oak and salt cedar meet the ancient lava flows that built this range. This is just one of the beautiful places near the San Luis Valley that my Mother's family calls home.
