New painting from my landscape series of southern Colorado and the San Luis Valley and Northern New Mexico
In the lower foothills of The Sangre De Cristo mountains, from Santa Fe to Taos is what is considered to be the high road, or the upper road out of the Rio Grande Valley. There are several little adobe homes, ranches and homesteads nestled into these hills along the meandering road, truly "enchanting."
Angel Fire is actually on the other side of the mountains (to the east) but as this series progress's, so will my own meanderings through the hills ;-)
