New painting from my landscape series of southern Colorado, the San Luis Valley and areas around Northern New Mexico As I was heading up to Storm King in the San Juan mountains, I came across this incredible old abandoned Spanish church. This rather large church (for the area) is just outside of La Garita, in Colorado's San Luis Valley. This is but one impressionist rendition of the beautiful places in this special place that my maternal ancestors calls home.
