A New painting from a new First Nations Spirituality Series I'm working on. This series is an exploration and interpretation in abstract where I'm working toward expressing the struggles of the Native Americans to keep their spirituality. In some cases, as any student of history will know, to even try and find it again as it was ripped violently away from them. This particular piece is an expression of the Ghost Dance, whereby the Crow were the first to bring the message to the people of the sun, the Sioux.
