
This is probably of of the more difficult pieces for me that I've worked on. I love teapots and have drawn lots of them but nothing quite this big. With this piece however, the size alone was an obsticle. I've been working with senneliers more and this one is thoroughly overlaid in them. Senneliers are like working in melting sticks of butter in an unairconditioned house in the summer (which is exactly the case) but the colors are soooo rich and worth it! I also painted in some of the flowers and background using oil paint.
I used Arches 88 paper because it's absolutely durable and comes in these huge roles which can be cut to the size I want.
