My art will make you smile, and maybe giggle ... just a little. I love art, magic, whimsy, mystery, and hope to add a smidgen of each in every image I create. I'm self-taught and have been making art since I was a child. My images have many textures, patterns, and delicate details that are my trademark.

My ideas come from my uncontrollable imagination and the eclectic array of music I listen to. I combine sketches, paintings, and photos to create my images. I enjoy painting using my computer software, or drawing and painting by hand. I am mystified by the harmony and beauty of nature.

In my early work, I used watercolors, acrylics, oils, paint brushes and traditional art tools. After discovering the digital tablet and pen, I began using that, as it requires the same skills and expertise as traditional painting, and eliminates some of the problems associated with traditional techniques. Some of my favorite artists are the timeless Matisse, Van Gogh, Renoir, and Gauguin. Contemporary influences would include Maxfield Parrish, Aubrey Beardsley, Erte, Michael Parks and Jasmine Becket-Griffith.
