Here is the second part of The Cat in the Fiddle series, my favorite nursery rhyme. I've done the cow, the cat, and the dish and spoon. All that's left is the laughing dog (which will be fun to do). I remember loving this rhyme when I was a kid. I'm hoping to paint my own version of a nursery rhyme book someday. Since I have already illustrated 2 published childrens books for different authors (with 3 more in process), my artistic aim is to keep my focus on doing more children's books or spot illustrations for magazines.

I painted this in bright primary colors. It is painted with vibrant watercolor dyes, India ink, acrylic paint touches, and the finest Blick non-fur synthetic watercolor brushes.
