Andrew Myles McDonnell, Artist signature name; Victor Myles. This is my public web site, for interested viewers. Although, I am a professional handyman by trade, co-owner of a successful St. Louis, Mo. based LLC, serving 600+ repeat customers, I Consider the sale of my artistic materials an essential part of the life long creativeness, that has followed me. The history presented (Art history), is intended for viewers, curators, buyers, and regular business customers, those who must understand that art acquisition is a financial investment, and need to be assured that the value of their purchased product will indeed maintain it's worth and beauty, long after my own life has transcended into the spiritual one (If saying so is not too bold). Basic fundamentals were tutored. My mother was a professional department store window decorator, scenery painter, parade float coordinator, with a strong informational background in the visual arts. Women of her day were not recognized in the corporate world, so I take this moment to recognize her life accomplishments, as I am only a seed of the creative skills that she so carefully had sown, into my being. And so, as of this base; 1964 2nd place permanent elementary school logo contest; 1966 1st place bond issue poster contest, High school majors Music(Violin) and Art. 5 years of technical college 1982; Design, scenery, and lighting for Arena shows on ice, 1987 thru 1997; Caricature artist and Published cartoon copyright 1995 (comic strip Barndoor bones); Winter Wonderland light show coordinator 1997 and 1998; Collage, Sculpture, Paintings, and Fixed media for purchase and presentation.
