I did this abstract, self-portrait during a time when I was attempting to accept my life with a chronic illness. The painting, done in watercolor with collage, shows me in a cloud of blue mist. My hands are pressed against it as if I'm trying to find a way out of the mist in which I am lost. Measures 16 1/2 x 15 inches.
