This is another piece inspired by nature and wilderness, the redwood forest in the bay area of California. I have visited many times to Muir Woods, this piece is what I called the representational understanding of the redwood.
The techniques involved in this piece is impasto mixed with dry brush strokes. Thick acrylic paints were used to create texture to the trunks while dry brush strokes of darker colors enhanced the depth. Flow of fluid acrylics were used at the background to provide foggy feeling.
