This is an original painting from The Sign Writing Abstract Series. Main medium used is acrylic with photographs creatively collage over the canvas surface. I am using the canvas as a center stage to create a billboard-like design to represent a city, in this case, the NYC. A city with many commercial billboards. A picture of a woman figure included in this piece of painting is to represent the modern urban concepts of beauty and women's journey, struggle and success in the city. The painting is well balanced with the central park representation to provide a greenery and botanical environment that convey a message of taking a break while pursuing your goal in the big city, a work-life balance idealogy.
