This piece is painted using knife and impasto style with thick acrylic paints mixed with gel medium.
This is another of my pieces to illustrate wilderness. From the earth series. Loose strokes of red oxide colors enhanced the subjects of wild flowers and act as the focus point of the painting.
There is a separation between the sky and the ground area to emphasize the sense of wide space in order to give the feeling of freedom and enjoyment of wild nature.
A little about me: I am a self representing artist. My main medium is acrylic on canvas or linen. Acrylic gives me the flexibility and creativity that I need. Various techniques and effects could be created using acrylics alone or mixing with other medium. I like to experiment and my strength is my creativity. Hence, acrylic is naturally my favorite media. I love nature and wilderness, and therefore, most of my work are surrounding that subjects or topics.
