This angel is dedicated to my beloved mother, Yvonne, to my aunts, my sister, and especially, to my niece, Barb.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in her great old age. She was too frail to undergo treatment, and died of other causes at the age of 92. Two of my maternal aunts were cured of breast cancer in late middle age. They lived to be very old, and died of other causes. My sister was cured 23 years ago. She is well and enjoying an active life. Our family is very grateful to have been blessed with these cures.

But like so many other families, we have lost an angel to breast cancer.  Our lovely, gentle Barb, beloved wife and mother, left us just recently. In grief, all hearts are united. In hope, let us all be united also.

May this lovely angel, who holds the sacred trust of messenger, carry all your prayers to Heaven.
May you find solace in knowing that the wishes of each heart are heard with love and compassion.
