Emigrant Peak from Carter's Bridge

- by Lynn Bickerton Chan

This week's theme: Winter

Winter is here. It isn't just that the temperature has dropped, the entire landscape has changed. The light is different. The colours are different. The world in winter is as beautiful as it is unique.

For the next few weeks, Art Of The Day will be sharing some of the perspectives EBSQ artists have of this season.

Art: Emigrant Peak from Carter's Bridge by Artist Lynn Bickerton Chan
The Yellowstone River flows out of the Park and past Emigrant Peak before it leaves Paradise Valley under Carter's Bridge. In winter the red of the willows and cottonwoods, contrasts against the snowy mountains and the steely grey of the river.
