It's the last week of December and 2011 is almost at an end. As the month has progressed, the holiday festivities have become more and more amplified. This last week of increasingly frenetic round of gatherings and parties will culminate in the granddaddy of all celebrations - New Year's Eve. So as we bid farewell to 2011 and welcome 2012, take this opportunity to dress to the nines, make some noise and have a good time.

Art: BIKER CHIC: Black Leather Gloves with Crystal and Sterling Silver Beads by Artist Sparkle Plenty Fine Beaded Jewellery

The gloves are made of ultra-thin, buttery soft black leather, and are marked "France."

They are quite small: I'd judge them to be a size 6 or 6-1/2; and laid flat measure 18" from the tip of the middle finger to the further edge of the cuff.

I've embellished the backs with rows of vintage crystal roses montees in a blue-green aurora boreale colour, between which I've strung swags of matching Swarovski crystal bicones and sterling silver beads. Talk about your rogue divas!
