Latourell Falls, Oregon

- by Toni M Chiapelli

This week's theme: Waterfalls

There is something about falling water that captivates us. It is no wonder that we have long thought that Gods and spirits reside in waterfalls and the pools that they reach downward to become one with. The sounds made as the water splashes on rocks and as the cascade completes it's journey can soothe and thunder. On a sunny day, they bring forth rainbows. Waterfalls cleanse and awe. Whether mighty or delicate, a waterfall's beauty never fails to delight and inspire.

Art: Latourell Falls, Oregon by Artist Toni M Chiapelli
Latourell Falls is part of the beautiful scenery of the Columbia River Gorge. Several waterfalls, probably the most famous, Multnomah Falls, can be found along a small winding road. This photograph is artistically composed to create blocks of shapes from the jagged rock face, to the bright green moss, to the water iself.

This is a limited edition photograph. Current numbering is 1/80. Direct inquiries to chatnoir16@email.com.
