LIQUID LACE WATERFALL

- by Diana Mae Potts

This week's theme: Waterfalls

There is something about falling water that captivates us. It is no wonder that we have long thought that Gods and spirits reside in waterfalls and the pools that they reach downward to become one with. The sounds made as the water splashes on rocks and as the cascade completes it's journey can soothe and thunder. On a sunny day, they bring forth rainbows. Waterfalls cleanse and awe. Whether mighty or delicate, a waterfall's beauty never fails to delight and inspire.

Art: LIQUID LACE WATERFALL by Artist Diana Mae Potts
If you look at a waterfall from the top and put your focus on a section of water and follow it down at the same speed it is falling, it has the lacey effect as seen in this print. Hence the name "Liquid Lace". This work of art came from the artist's imagination and from memory of observing many waterfalls in the USA. ENJOY!
