One of my favorite things to do at the zoo besides see the animals is to photograph people, when they're not looking of course. I like to sit in the concession area and wait for them to approach the vending machines. Sounds kind of like I'm hunting, doesn't it. Anyway, it's lots of fun and occasionally I get some good reference material. This is painted on 2 1/4" gallery wrapped canvas. The painting has been continued onto the edges. The top edge is the very dark background color behind the machines and the bottom edge is the very light foreground color. The sides of half and half.
