Art: On the table we sit and wait by Artist Sarah Money
This etching is about the feeling of being trapped in a stereotped role. Being trapped inside a bottle is a symbol for being trapped within the container of your own body. Whether this is being fat and having a thin person trapped inside, or being a loud person but feeling quiet inside.... It is about the world of contrasts we put forward... as if offering ourselves on a table.
