Pear Group II

This week's theme: Thanks For The Memories

Whenever I see paintings of fruit they remind me of my childhood and family gatherings at my grandparents’ home. There was always an abundance of food, cake, pie and sometimes homemade ice cream but as everyone left all the children were given fruit. It was such a treat to get something especially for us.

Art: Pear Group II by Artist Tracey Allyn Greene

Another in my series of pear still life studies. This one is highly textured and I used a cool color palette, very dramatic. 9x12 acrylics on ampersand artist panel, sprayed with an acrylic varnish, a slot on the back makes it ready to hang!
