New painting from my landscape series of Colorado, the San Luis Valley and areas around Northern New Mexico The part of plum creek I am familiar with runs right through Castle Rock, Colorado. Along the front range south of Denver and north of Colorado Springs , in and around the the black forest... it is a lovely area indeed. This is but one impressionist rendition of the beautiful locations in this special place that my maternal ancestors calls home. This bright, bold painting has been created on a canvas panel set into a custom made pine frame, with a deep 1.5" presentation from the wall. Beautiful for contemporary decor. Excellent in either the home or office!
