I actually made this piece to wear to a masquerade party. So it's sort of art, sort of functional. The base of the hat/mask is made with a special material I'd like to keep secret, but it is slightly pliable. I painted it and added all the adornments. It was made to fit my head and face so I don't know how well it will fit other people. But I think it makes a nice sculture and would probably look good displayed on a mannequin head.
