private collection This piece shows a girl reading with a plant and a bird looking on. The bird and plant represent nature. Perhaps the girl should read outside? One of the most important aspects of my childhood was reading and the other was nature. That's why I chose to do this piece bringing the aspects together - inside! I use charcoal for my line work and oil for color. My two main concerns are color and line so it makes sense that I choose my favorite materials to express each aspect. Thanks for looking! :)
