I sketched him out during the summer but had no idea where to go once I got the muscular form down. My fiance and I got a dog, and as it turns out he looked a lot like Sirius Black in his animagus/Padfoot form, and so I based the rest of the fur, eyes, mouth, teeth and tail on him. Unfortunately things didn't work out with the dog (he'd been abused by his previous owner, who was a woman, and so he felt the need to bite me viciously whenever he and I were alone) but he was a great model while I had him. :)
