This dreaming princess is from my favourably reviewed solo show, . . . and everything nice, which was shown here in Denver, in December, 2002. This is a magical little piece. Only the sun keeps one eye open while our little girl and her friend the moon dream of fantastical things. I wonder what wishes her magic wand holds. All of the paintings in this series are based on early childhood sketches and memory. This piece is 8"w x 12"h, painted on a sturdy composite wooden panel. Done mostly in acrylics, in shades of pink, navy blue and yellow, with touches of silver and gold.
