This piece is very much of mythological and archetypal aspect. Something about myth I think this work puts forward, in my re-interpretation, is the depiction of the primal, instinctual capacity for sensation that we, the current and modern "version" of humankind, contains... Giving some cognitive "shape" to our collectively expanding awareness is, I suggest, something encouraged by comprehension (to whatever degree) of mythic aspect... Imagine that this picture is hanging on a wall before you. It can be approached, as one could approach a shimmering threshold, an universe of sense and meaning that is exponential to where we now reside (collectively, of course)...
