Aboriginal people of Australia sometimes see in what they call "dreamtime". Their reality ressembles what western cultures would call mythology, and their art depict situations in life from above - from "dreamtime". As I studied art history, I enjoyed the paintings of Degas very much. I also became very interested in aboriginal art. Therefore, it was kind of an entertaining mind collision for me to imagine a view of a few Paris ballet dancers in white swirling skirts from this aboriginal "dreamtime" perspective. They really turned out like flowers.
