This is a Bas Relief sculpture
A very limited edition of my work, only fifty will be cast.
It is cast in2 pounds of Hydrostone and finished in a pink marble patina.
Hydrostone is a Gypsum Cement made of very fine particles, this product is mixed with water into a slurry and poured into a Moulage mold until it hardens to a very strong stone compond.
The sculpture is then painted by hand in this pink marble patina. . For this reason this piece is a "Varied Edition". The relief is 11 " in length X 63/4 " in width X 2" in depth. Due to the individual casting and painting of each no two pieces can be exactly identical . This high quality sculpture is signed, numbered and dated by the artist and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity .
