Art: Circle of Life by Artist Stephen King
I took the urban photo from this perspective because in its way it walks me through the circle of life. The base of the fountain being the circle, starting at the left we see the church which indicates many beginnings. From the marriage of our parents, to christenings and baptisms. The instruction of right and wrong in our formulative years.

Moving to the right is the fountain itself, which represents the frivolity and play time in life we so need and enjoy. The happiness and laughter that comes from both children playing and adults gathering to enjoy one another.

Continuing to move around the circle we come to the house. Home and family, with the responsibilities, joy and challenges that come with making a living, raising children, overcoming obstacles, sharing joy and sadness. Things that are the "glue" in holding families together.

The final move around the circle takes us back to the church, where final respects are paid to a life lived. Ok, so it's a lot to absorb from one
picture, ;-) but those were my thoughts when I took this image.
