
Why this shot: This is the right collonade of St. Peter in Rome (right when you are facing it and the collonade is the "arms" of the building that projects out the front). This outdoor space frames the entry of the Cathedral, the major gathering area of Vatican City.
How this has impacted my current prospective: A lesson in good architecture. Very monumental, gets across the grandness they wanted to display of the catholic church.
process: just moving around until I liked what I saw in the viewfinder.
